Who’s Dixie Hunte?

Dixie Hunte’s Honey represents the love, our mother, Dixie Hunte, represented to all. She was beautiful and sophisticated – yet contemporary and relevant. A kind and caring soul who deserved nothing but the best.

On becoming full-time carers for our late mother, we used Dixie Hunte’s Honey as a form of sweetener (for taste), and medicine (for health) - with Dixie Hunte’s Honey included in a healthy diet, mum was able to live medication-free until her departure.

She immediately tasted its golden goodness and promptly experienced the health benefits from the relief of colds, flu, sore throats, aches, pains, open wounds…to mention a few.

The reason this honey is so dear to us is because we endeavoured to provide the highest level of care for mum, because of our love for her. It’s taste and quality represents the goodness and beauty of mum, serving in the healing of the mind, body and soul with the added benefit of being deliciously flavoured and delicately textured. Dixie Hunte takes care of people the way Dixie Hunte the mother did.

The effort taken to design the branding and presentation was deliberate with special care taken to properly represent the essence of a loving matriarch: a model of sentiment and care.

Mum passed and left a large supply of honey jars that she had yet to consume – Hence, the birth of Dixie Hunte’s Honey was the sharing with family and friends, of her actual remaining jars left after her departure!
